What is Mindset?

According to Princeton, mindset is a "mentality: a habitual or characteristic mental attitude that determines how you will interpret and respond to situations."

Mindsets don’t have to be fixed forever, luckily, they can be molded to fit our goals and desires.  If you change your mental attitude, you will change how you react to various stimuli.  For our purposes, the stimuli in question is the forum in which a person is speaking.

When you are in front of a group, if you display nervous habits, it is a reflection of a mentality informing you that you are being criticized, judged, or that you are going look like a fool.

For many people, and maybe for you, that defeatist mentality has been programmed habitually for longer than you know.
Now, you can work on transforming your mindset.  Your new, winning mindset will manifest itself in the way you communicate and interact with your colleagues and clients.  They will respond in kind, and you will find yourself producing more through your professional communication than before.
